Duty Roster Management

1. Deploy plain-clothes staff at Gurdwaras/Deras/Diwans for intelligence collection.

2. Deploy uniformed police at all important and sensitive points.

3. Keep close watch on suspicious, extremist, anti-national or anti-social elements.

4. Always wear and display your police ID card.

5. Carry only authorized weapons, ammunition or lathis/polo sticks as per duty.

6. Stay alert and aware of your surrounding sectors, medical points and emergency services.

7. Save contact numbers of your immediate senior officers.

8. Help and guide visitors respectfully; maintain polite behaviour with public.

9. Thoroughly check visitors at barriers to prevent entry of arms or prohibited items.

10. Regulate traffic to avoid congestion at key points.

11. Conduct regular patrolling on all approaching roads and sensitive routes.

12. Submit intelligence reports to SP/Hqrs camp regularly.

13. Ensure barricading and anti-sabotage checking of police camps and critical locations.

14. Keep bomb disposal squad, ambulances and cranes ready for emergency situations.

15. Stay at your duty point until properly relieved and attend all roll-calls.
